Why can't my office or home have a special?

Unfortunately, at this time, we don't allow specials at offices or residences, only at consumer-facing, permanent business locations. This is a conscious decision made on team foursquare's part.
You are able to claim venues, but will be unable to offer specials through foursquare. We are doing this to preserve the user experience and ensure that the specials popping up on mobile devices are the ones users are hoping for!
