A foursquare special is a unique offer that you create for new visitors or loyal customers to your business who check-in on foursquare.

You decide the rules and redemption method behind these rewards, but we have a couple of guidelines:

  • Businesses must be able to instantly fulfill the offer. Advertisements, future offers, and general messaging are not permitted.
  • The special must be unique for foursquare users. Offers available to the general public are not permitted.

Here are a couple examples of specials:

1) Customer loyalty offer (or X check-ins in Y days)

"Check in to Joe's Pub 3 times in a week and get a free appetizer!"

2) Mayorship Offers

"One free dessert per week for the current mayor!"

If you have already claimed your venue and that claim has been approved, click "Manager Tools" on your venue page to get started

3) Example of a foursquare Special

The special shown below is unlocked by the user on their first check-in and includes a unique redemption code for the venue
