Foursquare helps businesses to connect with their loyal customers. With Foursquare Updates, you now have a new tool to engage with loyal customers in an easy, timely, local way.

Updates can be anything, from news about an upcoming event to photos of your latest menu item or a new special you’re offering. When customers like your location or check in multiple times, we consider them loyal customers and will automatically share your updates with them when they’re in the same city as one of your locations. No need for them to subscribe!

Merchants are able to send Updates from their manager tools in just a few quick steps:

1. Pick your locations
2. Input your update text
3. Add an optional photo (recommended!)
4. Attach an optional special
.. and you’re done!
