Foursquare listings show up when a person searches for something on Foursquare (they can search for everything, from ‘free wifi' to ‘dumplings.’)

Find more potential customers on Foursquare by keeping your listing up to date. Make sure you:

1. Claim your location or locations (if you have more than one store) so that you’ll have control over your presence on Foursquare.
2. Update your business’ contact information including:

• Your phone number, so that people can easily get in touch.
• Your URL, to direct people to your official website.
• Twitter and Facebook profile links to encourage customers to engage with you.
• Your hours of operation. When people are searching for something to do, we can tell them if you’re open or closed.
• Your menu information (if applicable), so people can see what you serve.
• A description to your page to tell customers a bit more about your business
