How to edit your listing details
As a manager of your Foursquare listing, you can edit your listing's details, including:
- Social Connections (Facebook, Twitter, Website)
- Phone # and website
- Hours of operation
To edit your listing info, get started by using Foursquare as your business, which will take you to your Manager Home page.
Once on this page, your first step is to select which locations you would like to edit. You can edit your info for a single location or for all of your locations at once, and create groups.
By default, this page controls all locations -- any changes you make will affect all of your locations.
To edit the information for your brand page and all locations (including your banner image, business description, profile photo, etc), click on the "listings" link under "Manage your locations".
You will then be able to edit for your brand or chain:
If you would like to edit a single location, just click on the link that says “Manage a single location”, and then select the location you would like to edit, like so:
After you've selected the single location you would like to edit, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the "listing" link under "Your business listing".
You will then be able to edit that listing:
To edit hours, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a button to "Add hours". Clicking this will pop out the hours module:
Don't forget to click SAVE after making any changes!
How to add events:
Go to Manage your listing. Scroll down toward the bottom of the page. You'll see a section called “Events.”
First, select the date of your event on the calendar. Then title your event in the given box and select the start and end time for your event. When you’re done, click “Add Event.”
You’ll see your upcoming event listed right below in the section titled “Scheduled Events.”
The event will then show up as an option when users check in during that time frame. Multi day events must be added one day at a time.
