Please keep in mind that your Swarm and City Guide profiles are connected to a single Foursquare account. Deleting one profile implies deleting both profiles at once.
Account recovery
For security reasons, Foursquare is unable to modify login credentials on behalf of users. If you are having trouble logging into your Swarm account, please try the following:
- Change or reset your password, by clicking on the “Forgot Password?” link found on the sign-in screen, and then follow the password reset instructions that will be sent by email.
- If you are unable to reset your password because you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, you will need to contact your email service provider to recover your email account.
In case you have not registered your mobile phone number, kindly note that the verification code cannot be received via SMS.
Account deletion
Sorry to see you go!
Before deleting your account forever, if you are experiencing issues with your account or with another user, reach out to our support team here: ...
To delete your account, please follow these steps:
- On a computer, visit foursquare.com/settings.
- Click on the “Privacy Settings” tab in the right sidebar.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "delete your account.”
- You'll be taken to a page to confirm the deletion of your account.
Note: There is no way to un-delete an account. This will delete both your Foursquare City Guide and Foursquare Swarm accounts. That means that all of your tips, tastes, and check-ins will be lost. Also, just deleting the app will not delete your account.
